Not a film photo!
SANYO VPC-T700 digital camera with a distressed tape and petroleum jelly lens filter. Then digital darkroomed. (It's cool experiment your own lens filters!)

Petroleum jelly = vaseline? On what did you apply this "mess", an uv-filter or such? =) I'd love to see a photo of the filter you're talking about, because I'm very tempted to try it.
:icony3110wjack3tt:
Yup, Petroleum Jelly is Vaseline. But I don't use a UV-Filter because my camera doesn't have a wide enough lens. Instead, I use a layer of tape and place it over the lens, then smudge the vaseline with a cotton swab over the tape in parts where I want the image to be blurred. The tape gives the image a gaussian blur effect, and the vaseline give the image a very soft motion blur effect.

Here are some images I've already taken using this method.

I'll try to get a couple photos of this method up for you soon, and in the future I may have a tutorial up in my journal as soon as I perfect this method.
